LunaFest Palm Springs 2018: Huge Success!!

On Saturday, January 27th, Soroptimist International of Palm Springs hosted our 7th annual fundraising short film festival, LunaFest Palm Springs.

Our first year at our new location, Richards Center for the Arts at Palm Springs High School, proved to be our biggest and best event to date!! 

With close to 600 in attendance, our annual fundraiser turned out to be a smashing success!! 

The morning started with complimentary fresh coffee provided by Ristretto and pastries provide by Aspen Mills. In attendance was Dee Dee Wilson Barton from Barton CPA, our Diamond Sponsor through 2020. 

We also had a special guest speaker, Joey Ally, Director of Joy Joy Nails, one of the short films included in this year's lineup. Joey told us about her start in film making and what it's like to be a woman in the film making industry, as well as answered audience questions. 

Soroptimist of Palm Springs would like to thank our sponsors and all attendees for making our 2018 event the best to date!
